The lake "lac de blanchemer"

With an area identical to that of Lac des Corbeaux, Lac de Blanchemer offers peace and quiet. Here you can fish for brown trout, perch, tench, roach, and carp. There you'll find a floating peat bog that's difficult to access but provides a welcome refuge for perch and trout. This lake was dammed to generate electricity: the turbine, which is still in operation, was installed for this purpose at the Blanchemer Bridge in 1958. The lake's name, “White Sea,” comes from the reflection of snow on its waters in winter.

Camping, open fires, and swimming are prohibited (bivouacking is tolerated)

Parking is prohibited for all vehicles from May 1 through September 30, from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., in all parking lots at the lake (this restriction does not apply to anglers upon presentation of a valid fishing license).

The access road to Lake Blanchemer is closed in winter.
